Rutter's is expanding its footprint in Lebanon.
After meeting certain metrics of fuel sales and size and if applications are approved, the video gaming machines at Rutter’s locations in the York and Wrightsville areas would allow maximum bets of $5 and payouts that don’t exceed $1,000. Each c-store could have up to five machines. — Rutter's selected Marquee by Penn LLC, an affiliate of Penn National Gaming Inc., as its terminal operator for video gaming terminals (VGTs) in Pennsylvania.
On Thursday, Feb. 27, Rutter's announced the opening of its second Lebanon County location at 1621 W. Cumberland St. The store is the 78th Rutter's location for the central Pennsylvania-based business.
While each gaming room continues to offer five machines for customers to use, Rutter’s installed plexiglass barriers between machines, added hand sanitizer in the gaming rooms and placed stickers designating where to wait for a machine to open to keep customers safe, the chain said. Accel Entertainment is a terminal operator in Illinois, providing slot machines and amusement devices to bars, restaurants, gaming cafes, and truck stops. 888-862-2235 (Sales) 888-972-2235 (24/7 Service). Rutter's, which operates 75 convenience stores in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and West Virginia, plans to opened more than 10 VGT rooms in 2019 with more scheduled for 2020. The machines are provided by Marquee by Penn, a subsidiary of Penn National Gaming, Inc., also a PFMA member and sponsor.
The 8,800-square-foot location will feature 14 fueling stations, five high-speed diesel truck lanes and a beer cave.
The store is also waiting for approval for its Video Game Terminal Room application, according to a news release. Rutter's unveiled its Video Game Terminals in August, a 5-machine virtual gambling section available at select locations.

The West Cumberland Street site will be open 24 hours and has created 50 new jobs. A grand opening ceremony will be held on Wednesday, March 18.
Rutter's operates 78 locations throughout central Pennsylvania, Maryland and West Virginia.
