- In November 2016, I played at a $5 craps table at The Cromwell. During my visit in November 2017, I stopped by The Cromwell a few times and the craps table minimum was $10. I don't recall a $5 craps table at any of the CET properties I played at (Flamingo, Harrah's, Paris, Planet Hollywood and Linq). Goes without saying there wasn't one at Caesars.
- Answer 1 of 25: During our recent trip, noticed The Cromwell with a $10 table that offered 100x odds? Now obviously I am not playing 100x odds, but the table was pretty good which allowed me to play 5x or 6x odds in situations where I'd normally be allowed 3x.
- The Cromwell Hotel & Casino has overtaken long-time winner Casino Royale has having the best craps game on the Las Vegas Strip. The Cromwell is the only Strip casino to have 100x odds on craps. This is by far, the most generous odds in Las Vegas, and certainly on the Strip, as no other Strip joint even goes to 10x odds.
While most of Caesars Entertainment’s resorts in Las Vegas have reopened, Cromwell has remained a mystery.
Today, an internal Caesars Entertainment communication shared the working date for reopening Cromwell is Oct. 3, 2020.
According to our sources, all Cromwell reservations prior to Oct. 3 will be shuffled to Caesars Palace, just across the street.
The news is interesting given rumors Cromwell is one of the Las Vegas casinos up for sale by new Caesars Entertainment as part of its merger with Eldorado Resorts.
The internal communication also included references to Planet Hollywood, Rio and Linq (currently, its casino is open but the hotel is closed). The memo suggested working dates for these casinos at August 5, 2020, but those dates appear highly unlikely to stick at this point.
On the bright side, Caesars Entertainment did manage to open Bally’s Las Vegas on July 23. Soft demand, especially midweek, made that scenario a risky move, but the classic resort opened, anyway.
We kid because we love. Not you, Grand Bazaar Shops. We love Bally’s.
As with all casino reopening information, there are caveats galore with the Cromwell news.
The landscape continues to shift in Las Vegas due to the COVID-19 crisis, but we’ll take all the good news we can get.
Cromwell is a player-friendly destination, and Vegas isn’t quite the same without all the WTF of Drai’s nightclub and Giada’s popular restaurant, among other offerings.
Cromwell will reportedly be the site for season two of “Love Island,” whatever that might actually be. Pre-production has presumably already started at Cromwell.

That's crazy. Can someone confirm?Regarding the $5 table, I'm pretty sure they allow the pit/supervisor to change the min at will and they will not grandfather. I was playing at a $10 table, was informed it would be upped to $15, but nothing happened after 15 minutes and we were told that she (looked/pointed at pit/supervisor) changed her mind. People should not be thinking that they're going to turn into a Casino Royale, those minimums will be $15-25 as soon as they fill up.

There was some discussion on Twitter about it yesterday so I went there and the other Caesars down there around 11pm last night. Cromwell had a $5 and $10 table open. The max odds are $5,000. I can't comment on raising limits and grandfathering. I believe Casino Royale caps odds at $500.
Cromwell Craps Lessons
All of the other Caesars I went in were 3-4-5x so this is exclusive to Cromwell. The company must want to get gaming up at Cromwell. It has several $15 3-2 blackjack games in the front with surrender/DA/DAS and others in the back. I suspect those go down to $10 during the day. The split may be 50/50 with 6-5. They also have the standard CET $100 S17 game in high limit.
NSUD, 9/7/4 TDB and 9/6 JOB are available among other 99.5% games in quarters but TR is $50 = 1pt. Those machines are towards Flamingo from the craps table. Nobody was playing them last night.

I don't know who makes the rules & stuff.....but maybe if the Cromwell sees more action relative to what they expect vs their other Caesars properties....as a whole, Caesars may wise up and think it'd be better to offer better games with better rules, etc etc.

I've always been surprised at how little action cromwell seems to get. It's right there on the strip (great atmosphere) and the dealers are above average.Cromwell Craps Odds

I think CET has that kind of action available to them routinely, assuming the guys with the money will place the bet. I've played Harrah's LV craps 3x now, and twice there were one or more 7stars throwing purple ($500) on the field (!) on $10 tables. If they can do that, they can definitely take max odds if they're offered. And I kind of assume, with no info to back it up, that those bettors are the ones being targeted with the Cromwell's changing that.Cromwell 100x Craps
